48oz Bottle of Classic Applesauce
1 Foil Bag of Craizins (the small bag / not family size) 1 Tbs Dizzy Pig Pineapple Head Seasoning
1/2 cup honey
1 stick of cinnamon cut in half lengthwise
1 cup apple juice with 3 cloves in a spritzer bottle (set aside to blend cloves)
1 Spiral sliced ham
Slow smoke the ham indirectly on the grill at 275 degrees with Cherry wood chips. Place into an aluminum roasting pan to catch drippings.
After thirty minutes of smoking, spritz the ham with the Apple Juice mixture. Repeat this process three more times.
Glaze the Ham with the ingredients provided 30 minutes after the last spritz.
Cover with foil and remove from the grill to rest.
After placing the Ham on the grill, combine the first five ingredients into a pot on your kitchen stove. The idea is to rehydrate the Craizins and simmer in the applesauce slowly on the kitchen stove while the Ham is cooking.
Bring the ingredients to a slow boil and then reduce to the lowest simmer setting on your stove. Cover the pot and stir occasionally to mix in the cranberries.
Taste after an hour and check the sweetness. Add more Honey if you determine that the sauce needs to be sweeter.
Serve the Ham slices on a plate with a spoonfull of the Sauce. Other sides would be potato salad and baked beans.
Enjoy,
