BEER STEAMED BRATWURST!
10 Bratwurst Buns
Jalapeño Mustard Sauerkraut
1 12oz Bock Dark Beer Camerons Stovetop Smoker
We used the Cameron Smoker to steam the sausage before browning the meat.
Pre heat your grill to 300 degrees.
Place the Cameron Smoker onto the hot grill. Fill the bottom pan with the beer. Refill the bottle with water and add that to the pan.
Slide the lid onto the Cameron Smoker and let the liquid heat for at least 15 minutes.
Rinse the sausage and pat dry. Place the grill into the Cameron Smoker.
Place all ten of the sausage onto the Cameron grill and then cover with the lid.
The liquid should be hot enough to steam the sausage for approximately 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, open the lid on the Cameron Smoker to brown the meat for about an additional 10 minutes. The meat should be around 165 degrees when fully cooked.
Place onto a bun coated with Jalapeño Mustard. Add sauerkraut and additional mustard over the sausage.
Add potato chips and a pickle as a side to the Bratwurst. Enjoy,
